Music is an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color.

Music is all around us and many times we may not be aware it impacts our lives. You may get woken up by music to start your day, tune into your favorite station while commuting to work, working out to songs of your favorite artist or maybe relax to some soothing sounds when relaxing to a cup of coffee or tea. My children have forever now and still do fall asleep to soothing lullabies.

Music is used in advertising and business practices to elicit emotions. For example, certain genres of music may entice shoppers in a place of business to relax, take time and shop for more items. Companies attach music to their products so everytime you hear the tune you associate it with a particular product.

Many people get inspired by music and lyrics from their favorite musicians and bands. Music can be uplifting, thought provoking, relaxing and inspiring. Many forms of therapy use music This is why Music is also called the universal language.
